Delivery Policy
Every Dawurobo Safe order is delivered by Dawurobo Delivery — the same rider network behind thousands of deliveries across Ghana. Last updated: July 2026.
1. Who Delivers Your Order
Orders are picked up from the seller and delivered to you by Dawurobo Delivery riders. Because the marketplace and the delivery network run on the same platform, your order is tracked from the moment the seller marks it ready — there is no third-party courier hand-off and no separate tracking site.
2. Delivery Options
- Same-day delivery (Greater Accra): orders confirmed during the day are typically delivered the same day. Orders confirmed late in the day may be delivered the next morning.
- Nationwide delivery: we deliver to all 16 regions of Ghana. Deliveries outside Greater Accra typically take 1–5 business days depending on the destination.
Timelines start when your order is confirmed — that is, when payment is received for online payments, or when the seller accepts a pay-on-delivery order.
3. Delivery Fees
The delivery fee is always shown at checkout before you pay — there are no surprises at the door.
- Pick your area, get the exact fee: when you select your delivery area from our list, you are charged the exact fee for that zone — the same price the delivery network itself uses.
- Locations not yet in our list: pick your location on the map and the fee is calculated from the actual distance to your drop-off point.
- Ordering from more than one seller: items from different sellers are picked up from different locations, so each seller's items carry their own delivery fee. Checkout shows the breakdown per seller.
4. Tracking Your Order
- Your order page in My Orders shows every stage: confirmed → packing → ready → on the way → delivered.
- You receive SMS updates at the important moments — when your order is confirmed, when it is handed to a rider, and when it is on its way to you.
- Once a rider is assigned, a live tracking link appears on your order page.
5. Receiving Your Delivery
- Please make sure the recipient phone number on your order is reachable — the rider calls when they are close.
- Someone else can receive the order on your behalf at the delivery address.
- For pay-on-delivery orders, check the items before paying the rider. If the package is visibly damaged or wrong, you may refuse it at the door — see our Refunds & Returns Policy.
6. If a Delivery Fails
If the rider cannot reach you or find the address, they will call the number on the order and our team may contact you to rearrange. If a delivery ultimately cannot be completed:
- If the failure was on our side or the seller's side, you receive a full refund including the delivery fee.
- If the failure was due to an unreachable phone or an incorrect address, we will arrange a re-delivery; a second delivery fee may apply.
If your order never arrives at all, report it from the order page — non-delivery is always fully refunded.
