Terms of Service — Dawurobo Safe

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Dawurobo Safe at safe.dawurobo.com ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, buyers, sellers, and anyone who accesses the Platform.

Dawurobo Safe is operated as part of the Dawurobo platform and is integrated with Dawurobo Delivery. By using Dawurobo Safe, you acknowledge this integration and understand that certain data may be shared between these services as described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Dawurobo Safe is an online marketplace and verified business directory serving Ghana. Independent sellers list and sell their own products on the Platform. Buyers can discover verified businesses, browse products, place orders, pay online or on delivery, and have orders delivered through Dawurobo Delivery.

In every purchase, the seller — not Dawurobo Safe — is the party selling the product to you. The seller is responsible for the products they list, including their quality, safety, accuracy of description, and legal compliance. Dawurobo Safe facilitates the transaction: we operate the storefront, collect payment on the seller's behalf through licensed third-party payment providers, coordinate delivery, hold sellers to our verification standards, and operate the buyer-protection process described in our Refunds & Returns Policy.

3. Eligibility and User Conduct

You must be at least 18 years old to use Dawurobo Safe. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

When using the Platform, you agree to:

Provide accurate and truthful information in all submissions, including orders, delivery details, seller applications and reviews.
Not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent reviews about any business.
Not place orders you do not intend to complete, or repeatedly reserve stock without paying.
Not impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
Not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Platform.
Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform, other accounts, or computer systems.
Not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or scrape data from the Platform without our written permission.

4. Seller Listings and Verification

Businesses wishing to sell on Dawurobo Safe must register through our seller signup process. By registering, you represent and warrant that:

All information provided is accurate, complete, and up to date.
You are authorized to act on behalf of the business you are listing.
The business is legitimately operating in Ghana and complies with all applicable Ghanaian laws and regulations, including any product-specific licensing (for example FDA registration for food, supplements or cosmetics).
Products you list are genuine, safe, lawful to sell, accurately described, and priced correctly, and stock levels you publish are real.
You consent to our verification process, including cross-referencing your information with Dawurobo Delivery data.

We reserve the right to reject any seller application, remove any listing or product, or modify listing information at our sole discretion. Listings may be removed if we determine that a business no longer meets our verification standards, has received verified scam reports, or has violated these Terms.

Listing on Dawurobo Safe is currently free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce fees, commissions, or premium services in the future, with reasonable notice provided to existing sellers.

5. Orders and Payments

When you place an order, you make an offer to buy the listed products from the seller at the listed price, plus the delivery fee shown at checkout. An order is confirmed when payment is received (for online payment) or when the seller accepts it (for pay-on-delivery). Every order receives a reference number (for example SAFE-2607-123456) that you can use to track it.

Online payments are processed by licensed third-party payment providers (such as mobile money and card processors). Dawurobo Safe does not see or store your mobile money PIN or full card details.
Stock holds: when you choose to pay online, the items in your order are reserved for a limited time (currently 30 minutes). If payment is not completed in that window, the order expires automatically and the stock is released for other buyers.
Pricing: product prices are set by sellers. Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location. All prices are in Ghana Cedis (GHS).
Promo codes are issued by individual sellers and apply only to that seller's items in your cart. They may be withdrawn or deactivated at any time.
Errors: if a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price or with incorrect information due to an error, the seller or Dawurobo Safe may cancel the affected order and refund any amount paid in full.

6. Delivery

Orders are delivered by Dawurobo Delivery. Delivery fees, timelines, coverage areas, and what happens if a delivery fails are described in our Delivery Policy. By placing an order, you agree that your delivery details (recipient name, phone number, address and location) will be shared with Dawurobo Delivery and the assigned rider for the purpose of fulfilling your order.

7. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

You can cancel an unpaid order at any time before payment. Orders that are paid for and later cancelled, orders that never arrive, and items that arrive damaged, wrong, or significantly not as described are covered by our buyer-protection process. The full rules — what qualifies, how long you have to report a problem, and how refunds are paid — are in our Refunds & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Seller Payouts

Payments collected for a seller's orders are held on the seller's behalf and paid out to the seller's registered payout method on request, less any applicable fees and less any amounts refunded to buyers under the Refunds & Returns Policy. We may withhold or delay a payout where an order is subject to an open dispute, suspected fraud, or a chargeback, until the matter is resolved.

9. Reviews and User Content

Reviews on Dawurobo Safe can only be started from a delivered order or from the review link sent after a completed delivery — this is how we keep ratings honest. By submitting a review, you grant Dawurobo Safe a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your review content on our Platform and related marketing materials.

Reviews must be honest, based on genuine experiences, and comply with the following guidelines:

Reviews must reflect a real order or delivery with the listed business.
Reviews must not contain defamatory, abusive, threatening, or obscene language.
Reviews must not include personal information about other individuals without their consent.
Reviews must not be submitted in exchange for payment, discounts, or other incentives from the listed business or any third party.

We reserve the right to remove, edit, or refuse to publish any review that we determine violates these guidelines or is otherwise inappropriate. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted reviews and are not responsible for the opinions expressed in reviews.

10. Delivery Data and Verification

Dawurobo Safe displays delivery performance data sourced from the Dawurobo Delivery platform, including total deliveries completed, cash on delivery acceptance rates, and aggregate satisfaction metrics. While we take reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy of this data, we do not guarantee that it is error-free or completely up to date at all times.

Our verification process is designed to help consumers make more informed decisions. However, verification does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or warranty of any business, its products, or its services. Users should exercise their own judgment when engaging with any listed business.

11. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information on the Platform, including business listings, product listings, delivery data, or user reviews.

Products sold on the Platform are sold by independent sellers. The seller is responsible for the quality, safety, legality, and accuracy of the products they list. Dawurobo Safe's responsibility to buyers for problems with an order is set out in the Refunds & Returns Policy; beyond that, we make no warranty in respect of any seller's products.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dawurobo Safe, its operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform. This includes but is not limited to:

Losses resulting from transactions with listed businesses, beyond the refund remedies in the Refunds & Returns Policy.
Damages arising from reliance on information displayed on the Platform, including delivery data and reviews.
Loss of data, revenue, or profits.
Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid through the Platform in the twelve months preceding the claim, or GHS 100, whichever is greater.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, design elements, and software, is the property of Dawurobo Safe or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly display any content from the Platform without our prior written consent.

The Dawurobo Safe name, logo, and all related names, logos, and product and service names are trademarks of Dawurobo. You must not use these marks without our prior written permission.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dawurobo Safe, its operators, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity. For sellers, this includes claims arising from the products you list and sell.

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. Orders already paid for will still be fulfilled or refunded under the Refunds & Returns Policy, and seller balances legitimately owed will still be paid out. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall continue to apply.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.

17. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of these Terms remain in full force and effect.
