Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Dawurobo Safe at safe.dawurobo.com ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, vendors, and anyone who accesses the Platform.

Dawurobo Safe is operated as part of the Dawurobo platform and is integrated with Dawurobo Delivery. By using Dawurobo Safe, you acknowledge this integration and understand that certain data may be shared between these services as described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Dawurobo Safe is a verified business directory serving Ghana. The Platform allows consumers to discover and evaluate businesses that have been verified through our process, which includes cross-referencing delivery performance data from Dawurobo Delivery. Vendors can apply to be listed on the Platform, and consumers can browse listings, view delivery statistics, and submit reviews.

Dawurobo Safe acts as a directory and informational platform. We do not process payments, fulfil orders, or act as a party to transactions between consumers and listed businesses. Any transaction you enter into with a listed business is solely between you and that business.

3. Eligibility and User Conduct

You must be at least 18 years old to use Dawurobo Safe. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

When using the Platform, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information in all submissions, including vendor applications and business reviews.
  • Not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent reviews about any business.
  • Not impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Platform.
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform, other accounts, or computer systems.
  • Not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or scrape data from the Platform without our written permission.

4. Vendor Listings

Businesses wishing to be listed on Dawurobo Safe must submit an application through our vendor signup process. By submitting an application, you represent and warrant that:

  • All information provided in the application is accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • You are authorized to act on behalf of the business you are listing.
  • The business is legitimately operating in Ghana and complies with all applicable Ghanaian laws and regulations.
  • You consent to our verification process, including cross-referencing your information with Dawurobo Delivery data.

We reserve the right to reject any vendor application, remove any listing, or modify listing information at our sole discretion. Listings may be removed if we determine that a business no longer meets our verification standards, has received verified scam reports, or has violated these Terms.

Listing on Dawurobo Safe is currently free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid listing features or premium services in the future, with reasonable notice provided to existing vendors.

5. Reviews and User Content

Users may submit reviews and ratings for businesses listed on Dawurobo Safe. By submitting a review, you grant Dawurobo Safe a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your review content on our Platform and related marketing materials.

Reviews must be honest, based on genuine experiences, and comply with the following guidelines:

  • Reviews must reflect a real interaction with the listed business.
  • Reviews must not contain defamatory, abusive, threatening, or obscene language.
  • Reviews must not include personal information about other individuals without their consent.
  • Reviews must not be submitted in exchange for payment, discounts, or other incentives from the listed business or any third party.

We reserve the right to remove, edit, or refuse to publish any review that we determine violates these guidelines or is otherwise inappropriate. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted reviews and are not responsible for the opinions expressed in reviews.

6. Delivery Data and Verification

Dawurobo Safe displays delivery performance data sourced from the Dawurobo Delivery platform, including total deliveries completed, cash on delivery acceptance rates, and aggregate satisfaction metrics. While we take reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy of this data, we do not guarantee that it is error-free or completely up to date at all times.

Our verification process is designed to help consumers make more informed decisions. However, verification does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or warranty of any business, its products, or its services. Users should exercise their own judgment when engaging with any listed business.

7. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information on the Platform, including business listings, delivery data, or user reviews.

Dawurobo Safe is a directory and informational service. We are not a party to any transaction between you and a listed business. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of any products or services offered by listed businesses.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dawurobo Safe, its operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Losses resulting from transactions with listed businesses.
  • Damages arising from reliance on information displayed on the Platform, including delivery data and reviews.
  • Loss of data, revenue, or profits.
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Dawurobo Safe in the twelve months preceding the claim, or GHS 100, whichever is greater.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, design elements, and software, is the property of Dawurobo Safe or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly display any content from the Platform without our prior written consent.

The Dawurobo Safe name, logo, and all related names, logos, and product and service names are trademarks of Dawurobo. You must not use these marks without our prior written permission.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dawurobo Safe, its operators, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall continue to apply.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of these Terms remain in full force and effect.
